It's happened. The one thing I'd like to have achieved before I met my maker 😊 was to run a FULL website on Amazon's AWS servers.
Amazon servers are the most secure and fastest that humans can have and where on 9th Feb 2018 I achieved this goal that I'd had for many years.
Of course, I tried several times to see if I could make a system that was workable and ran WordPress websites properly and fully from the AWS system (Amazon Web Services) … and I could see the day arriving as the technology improved.
I even went with another vendor who promised that anyone hosting with him would be using the latest Amazon system. However, on closer inspection (after one of my blog sites seemed to be running a tad slowly) I found that only some of the assets of my WordPress websites were being pulled from the Amazon servers, the rest of the set up was on a hard drive in his office.
Nobody has ever been able to offer AWS for WordPress website hosting … until now, that is.
Marketing Bugle now have the facility to build, host and maintain your website on the very fastest system known to humanity (that's not hype, it's actually quite true) and you can be up and running in a matter of a couple of hours, from scratch (no longer ten days lol).
WordPress Websites Have Never Run So Fast!
If you're anything like me, waiting for pages to load when you're working on a site (or even as a visitor to a site) gets tedious and slows down workflow. But, after working on the www.MarkeingBugle.com website build back on Feb 9th 2018 (I'll never forget the date) and seeing how 'instant' the site ran, I knew that I'd finally made it as an online entrepreneur and could now offer my clients the same thing.
There's not a lot of difference, price-wise, either as, things have improved so much in the way the service can be started up and ran, that costs have been kept to the minimum. No CPU overages, no bandwidth issue and no space restrictions.
You log in, do what you need to do, your website visitors love you for it and, yes, so do the search engines, because your page-load times are less than three seconds, which they say they should be in order for your site to rank better.
On testing, a website that I ran on a known fast SDD server was taking around 7 to 10 seconds to load some of the pages, even with caching tools installed.
The EXACT same website running on the new Amazon AWS system loaded the pages in less than one second, WITHOUT any caching tools in place, it simply didn't need them.
To have your WordPress website up and running on Amazon's servers, contact Marketing Bugle now. The whole process is slick and where your business will definitely benefit.
Another benefit is that there are a number of instances of your website mirrored around the world and so, should it mean a faster experience for one of your viewers, then they will get their own 'local' version of your site. And should a server fail, there are copies that instantly kick in to keep things moving.
From AWS website; Amazon CloudFront is a web service that speeds up distribution of your static and dynamic web content, such as .html, .css, .js, and image files, to your users. CloudFront delivers your content through a worldwide network of data centres called edge locations. When a user requests content that you're serving with CloudFront, the user is routed to the edge location that provides the lowest latency (time delay), so that content is delivered with the best possible performance. If the content is already in the edge location with the lowest latency, CloudFront delivers it immediately. If the content is not in that edge location, CloudFront retrieves it from an Amazon S3 bucket or an HTTP server (for example, a web server) that you have identified as the source for the definitive version of your content.
