One of our most popular websites is the online course portal which is now home to eCourses covering all kinds of business niches.
However, Marketing Bugle are currently testing a new online course system that is affordable to much smaller businesses. Many people simply didn't require the high end complex features that were on offer with the website build.
The new system will cater for the most common requirements when running paid-for online courses and where any 'extras' can be added if and when required.
We will be selecting a few pilots to trial the LMS websites which include membership options, and then, after reviewing their valuable feedback, we'll put them on general release.
Features, after setting up your course, include a full managements panel, you can sell your courses by taking live payments, you can communicate with your students and take on new instructors, too.
There are plenty of 'add-ons' that can come in useful when your site grows and, therefore, may need more features.
More details will follow after the pilot programme has completed.
There will be a second online course website piloted with different types of features for those businesses with a specialist niche that may require particular configurations in order for the portal to run smoothly for their students.
Other benefits will be a new 'front-end' editor, a user dashboard for keeping in contact with instructors and students any time, activity recording, a management portal again, which can be worked from the front end, a commission system for paying other instructors (similar to our existing system), integration with many other 3rd party systems for web services and mobile platforms.
Quizzes and questions along with badges & certificate come as standard in this eCourse system. There is also a way for students to upload their assignments for manual evaluation with remarks capability.
There is also a mobile App to use with the whole website.
Both systems should be up and running by the end of May 2018.
